Company Profile
Broadline Medical Systems is an independent, privately held company.
It was established in 1994 in San Francisco, California as a packaging
operation for medical and surgical supplies. In 1996 the company
secured its first national contract with a Group Purchasing Organization
(GPO), placing it among the leading providers of sterile OR towels
and lap sponges. Our mission is to provide superior quality medical
and surgical supplies to the healthcare industry.
Broadline’s private label sterile OR Towels, Lap Sponges,
sterile and non-sterile kits and trays are produced domestically.
The company has formed strong alliances and joint venture relationships
with manufacturing partners in China, Malaysia, Thailand, and Mexico,
where Broadline’s private label disposable non-woven apparel,
linen, gauze, packaging materials, powder-free synthetic, Nitrile,
and latex exam product lines are produced.

Locations
Broadline has three manufacturing/distribution locations domestically,
in San Francisco, California, San Leandro, California, and Elgin,
Illinois. Broadline also maintains an office in Shanghai, China,
that provides Quality Assurance functions for all products imported
from Asia to the U.S. medical market.
